A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drug driving in Egremont yesterday morning (Monday, August 3).
Cumbria Constabulary Nuclear Estates Team (CCNET) officers stopped a Citroen Dispatch which had an MOT that had expired in March 2026.
The 35-year-old failed a roadside drugs test for cocaine and was arrested on suspicion of section 5A RTA driving a motor vehicle over the prescribed limit.
Police say he was released from custody under investigation to allow time for blood test results.
