The Met Office has forecast a mostly dry weekend for Whitehaven with sunny spells and light winds.
Saturday will be dry with a mix of sunshine and patchy cloud.
Temperatures will rise from about 12C in the early morning to around 18C in the afternoon.
The chance of rain will stay low, so showers are unlikely.
The morning will be partly cloudy with temperatures between 12C and 17C.
In the afternoon, it will be bright with sunny intervals and temperatures between 17C and 19C.
The evening is set to see an increase in cloud cover, with temperatures easing back to the mid-teens.
Sunday will again show lots of sunny intervals, with a few more showers possible than Saturday.
Temperatures will start a little higher, around 14C at dawn, peaking near 17C to 18C in the afternoon.
Rain probabilities will hover around 20 to 30 per cent in the morning, then drop to under 10 per cent later, so any showers should be light and scattered.
The morning will be partly cloudy with a small chance of passing showers and temperatures between 14C and 15C.
The afternoon will see long sunny spells, with temperatures between 16C and 18C.
Sunday evening will turn clearer with some sunshine, then mostly clear skies, with temperatures easing to the mid-teens and staying dry.
