A road in Parton is set to close for eight days.
The U4007 Parton, from its junction with Bank Yard Road, is set to shut for utility works for approximately 40 metres.
The scheduled closure will begin on August 24, and is expected to last for about eight days.
A pedestrian and dismounted cyclist route will remain open, while vehicles will have to follow an alternative route via the unrestricted sections of the U4007, U4114, and A595.
Cumberland Council plans to carry out utility work in the area.
