A road in Cleator Moor is set to close for three days for utility works.

Montreal Street is expected to shut from its junction with High Street, stretching 30 metres south-westerly.

The scheduled closure is due to commence on August 9, and may last for up to three days.

Cumberland Council have said the planned closure is to facilitate essential utility works.

During the expected closure, motorists will need to follow a diversion via the unrestricted section of Montreal Street, Jacktrees Road, and High Street.
