Residents of a Whitehaven street have bagged a prize in the Postcode Lottery.
Those with a lottery ticket and a CA28 8XW postcode were awarded a £1,000 win in yesterday's daily prize draw.
Subscriptions to the postcode lottery supports a range of charities across the UK.
A minimum of 30 per cent of the ticket prices goes to charity.
The Postcode Lottery website states: "Not only do our players win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support."
To date, they’ve raised more than £1.5billion in funding.
