A MAN has admitted to a string of driving offences.
Michael Bond, 65, of Firth View in Parton, pleaded guilty to multiple motoring offences relating to an incident in Whitehaven on January 25.
He appeared at West Cumbria Courthouse on June 30, and will return to Workington Magistrates’ Court on August 3 for sentencing.
The offences relate to the use of a Renault Captur vehicle on New Road in Whitehaven.
Bond pleaded guilty to driving without third-party insurance, he also admitted to driving the vehicle without a valid licence for that class of vehicle.
In addition, Bond pleaded guilty to driving dangerously.
This offence took place in the Tesco car park, Whitehaven.
Further, he admitted to failing to stop after a road accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle.
He also failed to provide his name and address when required to do so, as well as the name and address of the vehicle owner and the identification marks of the vehicle.
Bond entered guilty pleas to all charges on June 30 and a pre-sentence report has been ordered ahead of his sentencing hearing.
The hearing is set for August 3 at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
