A cycling challenge will soon take place to raise money for a charity.
The event, called Tour de Mitie, will take place at Mitie’s Blencathra House office on Tangier Street, Whitehaven, from June 15 to June 19.
Organised by the Mitie Cumbria Consortium team, the five-day challenge will see colleagues, partners, and members of the supply chain clock up kilometres on static bikes.
In a bid to complete a virtual 937km journey, roughly the distance between eight Mitie offices across the UK.
The challenge will raise money for the consortium's charity of the year, Always Another Way
The static bike challenge will take place in the office car park to create a 'visible and engaging' atmosphere.
