A live search for the world’s biggest liar is coming to the stage.
Rosehill Theatre has announced the 'World’s Biggest Liar' competition as the final addition to this year’s West Coast Comedy Festival programme.
Delivered in partnership with Jennings Brewery, the competition will see three members of the public each perform a five-minute routine in a lighthearted battle of wit and storytelling.
A panel of judges will question each contestant before revealing the winner.
The newly crowned World's Biggest Liar will take home a trophy and a case of Jennings beer, with runners up receiving eight bottles of Jenning’s finest beers.
Entry is open to all festival ticket holders except politicians and solicitors, who are "politely excluded for obvious reasons."
Entrants can register by emailing info@rosehilltheatre.co.uk by Monday, June 29, at 9am.
Participants will take to the stage on Saturday, July 11.
The competition is part of the wider West Coast Comedy Festival, which takes place at Rosehill from 1pm on Saturday, July 11.
A theatre spokesperson said: "With Flo & Joan, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Ali Woods and Tom Little, comedy lovers won’t want to miss this 7-hour extravaganza, packed with five amazing comedians, great music, and some delicious food and drink."
