Musical comedy duo Flo and Joan have been announced as headliners for the 2026 West Coast Comedy Festival in Whitehaven.
The pair will perform at Rosehill Theatre on July 11 as part of the event, which returns after its inaugural year.
Featuring a full day of comedy, the festival will run for seven hours and include five comedians, live music, and a selection of food and drink.
Flo and Joan have gained national recognition through appearances on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, Have I Got News for You, Cats Does Countdown, and a Nationwide Building Society advert.
A spokesperson for Rosehill Theatre said: "Their distinctive blend of music and comedy has made them one of the most recognisable double acts currently touring the UK."
Their appearance at Rosehill offers audiences the opportunity to experience their work in a more intimate setting, as they make a stop in Whitehaven ahead of their upcoming tour, which is already close to selling out in many venues.
This latest announcement continues to build momentum for the festival, positioning it as a key date in the region’s cultural calendar and an opportunity for audiences to enjoy live comedy in their local area.
The 2026 festival aims to provide a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, giving the public a chance to enjoy established acts and discover new comedic voices.
The programme has been designed to feature a variety of comedic styles.
Other names confirmed so far include Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Tom Little, with more acts still to be announced.
The West Coast Comedy Festival 2026 will take place at Rosehill and kicks off from 1pm on Saturday, July 11.
Tickets are available now at £65 and are expected to sell quickly, so organisers are urging prospective ticket buyers to book early so as not to miss out.
