Only a few tickets remain for an evening with an award-winning Scottish creative, author, musician, and social commentator.
Orwell Prize-winning author, BAFTA and Royal Television Society award-winning documentary maker, and former BBC Reith Lecturer, Darren McGarvey will perform at Rosehill Theatre on May 21, 2026.
The show is part of his UK and Ireland tour of Trauma Industrial Complex: The Live Show, which is set to blend "comedy, spoken word, and social commentary" in his trademark style.
His tour follows successful appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe.
McGarvey's show has been praised as "brilliant and thought-provoking" by former Scottish First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon.
The Spectator said it was "uncompromising in his message" and it was called "truly courageous, sincere, and difficult" by The Herald.
The show's description reads: "McGarvey invites audiences to look deeper at the ways personal pain becomes public performance – and what it really costs.
"With wit, insight and empathy, Trauma Industrial Complex: The Live Show will resonate with anyone interested in the intersection of storytelling, wellbeing, and social change."
Darren McGarvey is coming to the Rosehill Theatre on May 21.
Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins at 7.30pm.
Standard tickets are priced at £12, with over 65s and under 18s entering for £10.
