Three solicitors have been promoted to associate positions at Cumbria's Bendles Solicitors following a recent merger.
The promotions come after the firm's merger with Gaynham King and Mellor (GK&M), which completed at the start of April this year.
The newly promoted associates are Kali Snowdon, Mariya Dimitrova, and Laura Goode.
Ms Snowdon is based in the family law team in Carlisle, whilst Ms Dimitrova, who is also based in the Carlisle office, specialises in private client work.
Ms Goode works in residential conveyancing at the Penrith office.
John Stevenson, managing partner at Bendles Solicitors incorporating GK&M, said: "These appointments recognise the professionalism and expertise that Kali, Laura and Mariya demonstrate every day in their work with clients.
"They have all shown fantastic commitment to developing their specialisms and supporting colleagues, and I’m delighted they are able to progress their careers with us."
Mr Stevenson said: "By investing in our people, we are ensuring we can continue to deliver an excellent service for our clients.
"The strength and depth of our team will be a crucial factor as we grow and develop following the merger."
The three new associates work across different areas of law within the firm.
Ms Snowdon advises clients on divorce, complex financial matters, and cohabitation disputes and holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Central Lancashire.
She joined Bendles in November 2022 after qualifying in 2020 and is a member of Resolution, which advocates a "non-confrontational" approach to family law issues.
The law firm says Ms Snowdon also supports the development of trainee solicitors within her department.
Ms Dimitrova, who joined the firm following work experience during her studies at the University of Cumbria, qualified as a solicitor in 2022 and now specialises in wills, trusts, probate, and Court of Protection matters.
Ms Goode focuses on residential conveyancing, supporting home buyers and sellers in the Eden Valley.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and joined GK&M in 2024.
Established as a family firm more than 200 years ago, Bendles Solicitors, incorporating GK&M, employs more than 80 people.
The firm serves clients across Cumbria from offices in Carlisle, Wigton, Whitehaven, Penrith, Appleby, and Kirkby Stephen.
