Tickets are selling fast as a Mock the Week star announces tour date in Cumbria.
Seats are almost sold out after a Whitehaven theatre announced the BBC favourite's performance set to take place later this year.
Andy Parsons is set to appear at Rosehill Theatre with his latest stand-up show, Andy Parsons: Please #@!$ Off To Mars, on November 28 as part of a national tour.
A long-standing favourite on the UK comedy scene, Parsons is best known for his 10-year run on BBC Two’s Mock The Week.
He has also appeared on panel shows including QI, Live at the Apollo, The Stand Up Show, The Comedy Store and The PMQ Show.
Rosehill Theatre said: "We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Andy Parsons will be making his Rosehill debut in November.
"In Andy’s own words, “Life is hard. Come and have a laugh about it.”"
Parsons began his career writing for radio comedy shows Weekending and Smith and Jones.
He later became one of the main writers on the satirical puppet show Spitting Image.
Across his career, he has completed seven sell-out national tours and released four DVDs: Britain’s Got Idiots, Gruntled, Slacktivist and Live And Unleashed – But Naturally Cautious.
He also launched his first stand-up special, Bafflingly Optimistic, in 2025.
Outside of comedy, Andy Parsons has contributed to current affairs programmes including Question Time, The Daily Politics, This Week and Newsnight.
He also writes columns for The Independent and the i.
Tickets for the show are priced at £19, with concessions available at £17.
The performance is set to begin at 8pm, with doors opening at 7pm.
Rosehill Theatre note that the performance is suitable for those aged 14 and over.
General ticket sales began on 11am on Monday, April 20.
Fans who have previously booked comedy shows at Rosehill and are subscribed to the venue’s mailing list have been given early access via presale.
