The postal history of West Cumbria is the feature of an upcoming talk at the Beacon Museum next week.
As part of the museum's Talking Tuesday programme, the session is set to take place on Tuesday, February 10.
The talk is scheduled to run from 2pm to 4pm.
It forms part of the museum’s ongoing series, with each month exploring a different topic through discussion and storytelling.
A spokesperson for The Beacon Museum said: "Each month, Talking Tuesday brings you a fascinating topic, delving into local history, global adventures, and stories that spark curiosity.
"Join us for an engaging afternoon of learning, conversation, and connection."
Tickets are priced at £5 per person and advance booking is deemed essential.
The museum says spaces are limited and no refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the event.
