A display of handcrafted sunflowers will return in memory of loved ones.
The Sea of Sunflowers event will fill the grounds of Cockermouth Castle with 500 ironwork sunflowers from Friday, April 10, to Monday, April 13.
The event is organised by Hospice at Home West Cumbria and follows the success of last summer’s display at St Bees Priory.
Holly Harkness, community fundraising co-ordinator for Hospice at Home West Cumbria, said: "We are delighted to be holding our second sunflower display this April, creating a space for our supporters to reflect and remember loved ones we have lost, and the patients in our care.
"Cockermouth Castle is such a beautiful setting, and we’d like to thank our longstanding supporters, Lord and Lady Egremont, for hosting our display.
" The sunflower itself is the universal symbol of hospice care, representing light, loyalty and love, so we welcome you to come along and enjoy the bright display, which we hope will allow people to find out more about what we do."
The sunflowers are available to purchase and dedicate in memory of a loved one.
At the end of the display, supporters can keep their sunflower as a lasting tribute.
