A WHITEHAVEN-based artist is celebrating ten years as a full-time artist.
Natalie Burns is the featured artist at Lowes Court Gallery in Egremont for the run-up to Christmas.
This is the same gallery where she had her first exhibition as a featured artist in 2015.
She now returns to the gallery after a successful exhibition in Maryport at the Shipping Brow Gallery.
Her work on display at the gallery includes some of her familiar themes, such as her acrylic paintings of trees and forests, and map collages inspired by her years as an orienteer and fell walker.
Along with her familiar work, some new work will also be on display.
These are architectural studies in pen and watercolour of buildings that have caught her eye.
Her recent project has been the publication of a book called 'A Postbox Story' which is an introductory history of postboxes.
Some of the original paintings from the book will be on display alongside it.
The book can be purchased from the gallery, as well as from Natalie's website, Florence Arts Centre, Michael Moon's bookshop in Whitehaven, and the New Bookshop in Cockermouth.
Natalie's artwork is on display from now until Christmas Eve.
Along with Natalie's work, the gallery also stocks a wide range of locally produced arts and crafts, including paintings and photographs by other gallery artists, prints and cards, textiles, glassware, jewellery, ceramics, wood, and a selection of many other locally sourced crafts and gifts for Christmas.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 1.30pm.
