A CAR has been uplifted in West Cumbria for having no tax.
The incident occurred in Egremont on Saturday, November 1.
The police have reminded the public that it is their responsibility to ensure that their vehicle is correctly taxed and ensured and has an MOT.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Copeland NPT officers have tonight uplifted a vehicle in Egremont for having no tax.
"It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their vehicles are correctly taxed, insured, and have an MOT.
"We will continue to target any individuals who do not adhere to this in order to maintain road safety."
