The Whitehaven Coastguard has reported 21 callouts this month.
This includes seven over the last weekend.
They were deployed alongside partner agencies to incidents including five persons in water or vessels aground, four missing person searches, and two ordnance or bomb disposals.
The team rescued or assisted several people and dealt with a couple of "false alarms with good intent."
A coastguard spokesperson said: "It's better to be called and not needed."
The team also maintained their weekly training and care activities, ensuring they are prepared to respond.
