Fresh veg boxes are being delivered straight to the doors of families in need.
Growing Well West Cumbria is offering 30 free Crop Share veg boxes to low-income households across the Mid Copeland area.
The scheme is supported by the Mid Copeland GDF Community Partnership.
Hannah Wright, manager at Growing Well West Cumbria, said: "We are delighted to work with the Mid Copeland GDF Community Partnership to make this initiative possible.
"Our fresh produce is ideal for making healthy, home-cooked meals and we’ll also include recipe ideas in each box so that recipients can explore making healthy new meals."
The boxes can be delivered directly to recipients’ homes or collected from a nearby collection point if preferred.
Applications can be made directly to Growing Well West Cumbria.
