Police have reported a rise in anti-social behaviour in Distington.
The area is reportedly experiencing increased incidents of youths banging on front doors and running away.
Copeland Police said although the incidents appear minor, they significantly impact the residents involved.
A spokesperson from Copeland Police said: "We would like to appeal to parents to talk to your children and ask them not to engage in this behaviour.
"Officers will be conducting high vis patrols in the village to identify offenders".
