A private school in west Cumbria has opened applications for its annual scholarship.
St Bees School is offering the Full Circle Scholarship to "academically gifted and driven students."
The scholarship provides full financial support for academic tuition at the school.
Candidates will be assessed based on their academic achievements, personal statement, and extracurricular accomplishments.
Leadership, community service, or participation in school clubs and activities will also be considered.
Successful candidates will have access to the school's "Fusion Curriculum," which combines Eastern and Western educational philosophies.
They will also benefit from the school’s extracurricular activities and international partnerships.
The scholarship is open to students aged 11, who will be joining Year 7 in September 2024.
Headmaster Andrew Keep said: "The Full Circle Scholarship represents the core values of St Bees – academic excellence, character development, and a global outlook.
"We believe in providing opportunities for students to thrive in a supportive, challenging environment, and this scholarship helps us attract the best and brightest from diverse backgrounds."
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a completed application form, personal statement, and supporting documentation such as school reports and references by November 15.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews during the weeks of November 18 and 29.
The interviews will offer candidates the chance to demonstrate their passion for learning, leadership qualities, and fit for the St Bees community.
Ceara Fisher, director of admissions, said: "Each year, the Full Circle Scholarship attracts outstanding students who are not only academically talented but also embody the values of integrity, responsibility, and ambition.
"We look forward to meeting this year’s applicants."

St Bees School was founded in 1583 and is one of the oldest schools in the country.
It was closed in 2015 but reopened in 2018 after being taken over by the Full Circle Education Group.
