A 'building issue' has forced the closure of Whitehaven Library.
Cumberland Council said that the closure was temporary and that further updates were to follow.

A spokesperson for Cumberland Council said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will update you as soon as we can.
"In the meantime, you can download the CWF Libraries app to find the nearest library or visit our website for more info. Thank you for bearing with us."
