MUNCASTER Castle's medieval festival is set to return this summer.
Medieval Muncaster will be making a return between May 25 and June 2.
Ewan Frost-Pennington, of Muncaster Castle, said: "It's going to include a medieval banquet, and like Dragcaster we're going to try to do a few different things.
"The idea is that Muncaster turns into a medieval fayre and we have archery and jousting.
"But, in addition to our normal Weapons Hall, we have actors and staged 'battles.'
"These are battles where both the children and adults get involved in them with foam swords, it's going to be a lot of fun.
"I'd encourage anyone to come to Muncaster, the gardens are looking awesome right now and we'd just like to start to move the attraction forward."
