An annual marmalade festival will take place this weekend.
Penrith and Dalemain Mansion will be celebrating marmalade, hosting demonstrations, talks, exhibitions, and shows on April 20.
One homemade marmalade maker will take the accolade of ‘2024 Best in Show’ and have the chance to see their marmalade co-branded and sold by Fortnum and Mason in London.
As usual, a wealth of marmalade entries will be on display for people to try and buy, as well as hundreds of artisan marmalades from around the world.
Juggling workshops and Paddington Bear will feature at the event which will offer free parking at the estate.
