A TWO-bedroom bungalow could be built in the Whitehaven area after plans were lodged with Cumberland Council.
The proposal is for a site on land to the west of Oak Crescent which measures a total area of 0.06 hectares and is described as "vacant land on a residential estate" with no known previous use.
It is proposed that the walls would be built using off-white K-rend and Bradstone buff colour coursed walling stone.
In addition, the roof would be dark grey concrete tiles and the windows and doors would be made from white or anthracite grey uPVC.
It is also proposed that the vehicle access and hard standing would be paved, the existing north east, south east and south west boundary walls would be retained and there would be two parking spaces.
The planning application is currently being considered by planning officers at the council.
