AN EXISTING workshop and store in Cleator Moor could be demolished and replaced with a new workshop and store if planning permission is granted.
An application for the Crossfield Road development has been submitted to Cumberland Council by Mossop Construction Services.
According to the planning application form the walls would be built from rendered panels, it would have a sheet metal roof and a roller shutter door.
It would add extra floorspace by increasing it from a area of 112 square metres to 135 square metres and the site covers an area of 0.24 hectares.
The application states that the workshop would be used to repair vehicles and the storage of plant equipment.
The matter is currently being considered by council planning officers.
