Police officers in West Cumbria have been maintaining a dispersal order.

Patrols were put in place around the Cleator Moor area to ensure that young people weren't engaging in antisocial behaviour.

Across North Cumbria in recent months there have been a number of these types of incidents.

A spokesperson said: "PC 2249 and PC 1932 are still patrolling Cleator Moor as the dispersal order is still in place.

"This covers Cleator Moor Square, Jacktrees Road, Victoria Street, Market Street, Duke Street and Cragg Road.

"For those who are frustrated by this, it comes as a result of consistent poor behaviour and disregard for public safety. One male was dealt with for riding his e-scooter on a public road."
