A DRUG-DRIVER who was over the cannabis limit on a petrol station forecourt has been banned from the roads.
Adele Casson, 36, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit when she appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
The offence took place at the Applegreen Garage forecourt in Corkickle, Whitehaven, on July 11 while Casson was driving a Suzuki Wagon-R.
A blood test showed Casson had 4.8mcg of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The limit is 2mcg.
Casson, of Powsy Sike, Ainstable, was banned from driving for 12 months. She was fined £120 and was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £48 victim surcharge.
