This October a community centre in Whitehaven will be putting on a range of activities for children.
Red Lonning Community Centre at Hensingham is offering a range of events for young people and their families to enjoy.
Allan Forster, a volunteer at the community centre, said: "When the children are off over half term we're having a trip to Blackpool on Monday, October 23 and we have some events during that week.
"We'll have a pumpkin carving event and on Thursday, October 26 we'll have a Halloween movie night where we'll be showing Hocus Pocus.
"That will be free for all the kids. We have also got the carving on the same day which is from 12.30pm until 2.30pm."
