Whitehaven Rugby League has announced the acquisition of Jake Carter on a month’s trial.
The news comes ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Championship visit to Keighley Cougars.
Carter now in his second spell with the club following a loan spell back in the 2019 season joined up with his new teammates earlier this week and is in contention to make his second debut on Sunday.
Carter made three appearances for the club back in 2019 slotting a drop goal off in a Good Friday derby victory over Workington Town and scoring a try on his final appearance in defeat away to Oldham.
Haven head coach Jonty Gorley spoke about Carter saying “He’s trained on Tuesday and Thursday and slotted right in like he’s been here all season. He’s an organiser and a playmaker as well as knowing a lot the squad outside of rugby which will really help.”
