This May bank holiday families can enjoy a festival for all ages to enjoy.
Wasdale May Festival 2023, will be held on Monday, May 1 and it starts at 1 pm.
It includes children's fancy dress and a posie competition with judging at 1.15 pm prompt.
There will also be Maypole dancing, a brass band, children's sports, teas in the village hall, a raffle which will be drawn at 2.55 pm, and also stalls, a tombola, a lucky dip, and a human fruit machine.
The organizers have said everyone is welcome and it will be 'fun for all the family."
