Stagestars Performance School is preparing for their 5th grand final after winning 10 trophies and 4 special awards in their semi finals.

The group took part in the Showbiz semi final at Blackpool Winter Gardens on January 29 and competed against schools from all over the UK.

Stagestars won 10 trophies and 4 special awards, leading them to their 5th grand final on March 5.

Troupes from the school were aged between 4 and 74 and performed numbers such as Crocodile Rock, Grease, Moulin Rouge and Hairspray.

Charlotte Collins, co-owner of Stagestars said:

"Preparation was busy, our school rehearsed up to 4 times a week. The school is ran by myself and my sister Beth Clark and we are so proud of our school. The competition was up to the standard of the West End and to be placed amongst this shows how brilliant of a team they are."

"Our age range all come together on the day to compete in different sections, the support and care towards each other on the day was amazing. We could not be without the support from the families and chaperones of our school. They help us every step of the way."
