Richard Rose Central Academy is celebrating the achievements of its pupils after they received their A-Level and BTEC results today.

1000s of student across Cumbria have received their results today with this year seeing the first in person exams since the start of the pandemic.

High achievers include Newcaslte bound Flynn Thompson, who achieved an A* in Law, A in Politics and B in Maths and Dylan Giles, who achieved an A in Maths, B in Physics and C in Chemistry.

“We are pleased that so many of our Sixth Formers applying to university have been successful in securing offers at their preferred choices’’ said Dan Markham, principal at Central Academy.

‘’Well done to all our Year 13s who are celebrating their results today.”
