THE prestigious in-Cumbria magazine this month relaunches with a contemporary new look.

Following a full redesign, the magazine – published this week – includes special reports, updates, analysis and commentary from our top journalists and contributors.

The Newsquest Cumbria team behind the product has reacted to constructive feedback and is delighted with the results.

Vanessa Sims, Newsquest Cumbria’s regional group editor, said: "We’ve worked hard on the redesign and we have really listened to what industry leaders and business owners have told us they want to see in the magazine. Some wanted more analysis, others wanted stories revealing the personality behind the businessperson.”

Lee Taylor-Craddock, commercial director for Newsquest Cumbria, added: "There are exciting times ahead for the in-Cumbria brand overall, I hope our readers like the investments that we have made.

"The team has worked hard to improve the design, introduce new relevant content, and improve the availability of the product with both mailed subscriptions and pick-up points increased, not forgetting you can now read the full magazine as a digital edition across all devices which continues to grow as a preferred format.

"These enhancements don’t just benefit our readers, they also create an improved platform for our current and future advertisers, providing an engaging and trusted environment in which they can market themselves and raise awareness amongst a highly targeted and local business-to-business audience.

"I would like to thank our existing advertising and partners for their continued support and also welcome onboard our new partners and advertiser, we look forward to working with you all moving forward."

The magazine team is hosting an inaugural networking event in celebration of the relaunch at The Halston on Thursday, August 25, from 5pm.

Places, which are free of charge, are being snapped up but there is still time to register by visiting https://lnkd.in/d4sNmcKm

As well as an opportunity to meet up with businesses from across Cumbria, and enjoy locally sourced canapes, the event is being supported by Cumbria Distilling Co along with Kin Vodka who are gifting miniature bottles of gin and vodka to attendees.

A programme of content will be released throughout the year for future events to include guest speakers and panel debates.
