Dog and Partridge Inn

This is a friendly village pub in Sandwith who claim to be 'offering a warm welcome, homemade food & a good selection of beers, wines and spirits.' They serve pork, beef, lamb and turkey and you can choose to have 1,2 or 3 course in a deal.

One reviewer said: 'Fabulous food best Sunday lunch I've had when eating out.'

Sunny Hill Pub

The Sunny Hill has 'something for everyone'. The pub is located in Whitehaven and has a soft play inside for the kids. The Sunny Hill have a full carvery on offer each week.

A review here said: 'Food was excellent and well priced. This, together with the fantastic staff made it such an enjoyable experience.'

O'Hollarans

O'Hollarans is located in Egremont at the Falcon Club. They offer a carvery each week for customers to enjoy. They offer sit in, takeaway and local delivery options also.

The Vagabond

The Vagabond pub in Whitehaven specialises in Pizza usually but their Sunday roasts have a great write up. They offer sit in and delivery options. They have beef, lamb and gammon as well a veggie and gluten free options. 

A review read: '10/10 food, good delivery time, ordered late in the day so they only had gammon left, but no problem as it was fantastic. Always recommend this place'

Castle Knights

The Castle Knights in Whitehaven offers beef or chicken with their roasts served with roast potatoes, vegetables and homemade yorkshire puddings. You can choose to have 1,2 or 3 courses and you can order a takeaway dinner. They offer children and pensioner portions here.

One review said: 'A hidden gem we didn't know about. Lovely beer garden out the back. Excellent staff. They were very good to make sure my food was gluten free.'

Cleavers

Cleavers in Whitehaven offers roast beef, roast turkey or roast pork served with roast potatoes, mash or new potatoes, honey roast parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, yorkshire pudding and home made gravy.
