WHITEHAVEN'S newest town crier, Marc Goodwin, has a packed schedule ahead of him in his new role - and he has shared his diary of what he has been up to recently.

As you can imagine, the last few weeks have been busy for Marc Goodwin. Marc was out and about throughout the Jubilee weekend and his activities on behalf of the town have only ramped up since then.

Coming hot on the heels of the Jubilee was a visit to the Cleator Moor first Rainbows and third Brownies.

The group meet with Marc on Thursdays and offer a range of activities including crafts, games, songs and adventures while working hard towards their badges.

"It was always going to be difficult following on from Rob Romano but he has stepped right up and is thoroughly enjoying every minute of it and that’s plain for all to see."
