A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with indecent exposure after allegedly exposing herself to children at a play park and dancing naked at a window.

Ju Singh, 41, of Duke Street, Whitehaven, faces a total of 12 charges, including six charges of indecent exposure, which are alleged to have taken place between June 1 and 11, 2022, and August 1, 2021 and June 11, 2022.

Singh is accused of dancing naked at a window, in full view of the public, in Whitehaven on June 10.

She is also charged with outraging public decency by exposing her breasts to youths and making lewd comments to them, at a play park in Whitehaven, on May 29.

Singh faces two charges of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm, or distress, on June 2 and June 10, in Whitehaven, and two charges of assault by beating on June 2, in Whitehaven.

She is also accused of stalking, involving serious harm, between January 1, 2019 to June 11, 2022, in Whitehaven.

Singh did not enter any pleas when she appeared before magistrates in Workington on Monday.

The case will be heard at Carlisle Crown Court on July 11. An application for bail was denied and Singh was remanded in custody until her next court appearance.
