AN artist and musician based in west Cumbria has announced new plans for her artisitc ventures in the near future.

Emma Hunt, of Egremont, has been creating art for a number of years to help her cope with her illness Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Miss Hunt said: "I'll be putting on exhibitions for artists in the area to showcase their work to give them a place to display their art to the public.

"I know lots of artists aren't confident and it takes a lot of courage to display your own work.

"I've ran exhibtions around the Whitehaven area before and they've been successful."
