Regeneration experts BEC have launched an exciting new BECADEMY apprenticeship scheme designed to mould leaders of the future.
Operating from the beautiful Westlakes Science Park near Whitehaven, BEC is looking to appoint four amazing, community minded apprentices to join its team and help deliver its most ambitious regeneration plans to date.
BEC drives valuable regeneration that benefits local communities by reinvesting profits from its lettings estate portfolio into community driven, environmentally sensitive developments.
The apprentices will be involved in the development and management of schemes like the recently refurbished Bus Station and BEC’s current scheme to create a Digital and Gaming Hub for West Cumbria.
Launching the recruitment drive BEC is asking would-be apprentices: “Do you care about the community we live in? Do you want to make a difference? Then BECOME A BEC APPRENTICE. “We are launching our very first BECADEMY.
“We believe that as an organisation, we offer a real chance to shape better communities and present apprentices with real life work experiences, offering the chance to become directly involved in work and projects that not only result in seeing success and rewards but also leave a lasting legacy for future generations.”
The idea of the BECADEMY is to provide support and develop young people in West Cumbria to gain the required skills to take on permanent roles within BEC and local communities.
BEC will be hosting an open day on Tuesday 31 May 10-2pm at Westlakes Science Park where those interested can chat to and meet the team and take part in fun activities.
There will be plenty of refreshments too.
