Organisers of a county-wide archival project are once again appealing for submissions.

The project seeks to collect and archive photos, audio, art and ephemera for the Museum of Youth Culture.

It is a collaborative project between Free Radical Arts CIC, Pride in North Cumbria, Cumbria Libraries and Tullie House.

A spokesperson from Free Radical Arts CIC said: "We were approached by the Museum of Youth Culture to become a member of their Outreach Champion project collecting images of youth culture from the past 100 years.

"Together with Tullie House Museum and Cumbria Libraries and Archives and Pride In North Cumbria, we are collecting photos of people and ephemera that reflect the life of young people growing up in Cumbria.

"Submissions will be archived by the museum and shown in exhibitions in Coventry and Carlisle this summer.

"The project has had a successful launch in March and we have received some amazing photos from the fifties to the present day, all showing the diversity of young people across the ages.

"They would love submissions from anyone interested either via their email address or by attending their drop in sessions."

There are now only four more drop in sessions.

These are:

  • Thursday, March 31, Barrow Library
  • Friday, April 1, LGBThq
  • Monday, April 4, Whitehaven Library
  • Tuesday, April 7, Workington Library
