1 On Friday night at The Solway Hall, a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute act will be performing. Sherry 4 cover three decades of the legendary artists music playing songs like Sherry and Can't Take My Eyes Off You. 

2 At Rosehill Theatre Whitehaven and District Amateur Operatic Society will be presenting its Showstoppers 25th Anniversary Concert. The show will feature songs from classic musicals like Chicago and Annie. The concert will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week at 7:15pm. 

3 At The Beacon museum on the town's harbourside, there will be two exhibtions running this weekend. Ian Andrews – The Sketchbook and the Collider includes a 17 metre long drawing made especially for The Beacon Museum. Cumbria Thro' The Lens is an exhibition that features a variety of images of Cumbria. Also, if you would like a little bit of peace, the museum's quiet hour will be running from 10am until 11am on Tuesday. 

4 The Rum Story museum will also be open this weekend and offers amazing escapism. Transporting visitors back to the rum trade which spanned from Whitehaven to the Carribean. 

5 Whitehaven Parkrun will be taking place as planned on Saturday morning. This is a great opportunity to get fit and meet new people. Why not give it a go? 

6 If you want to let your hair down this weekend why not go out in town and enjoy the night life? There are a range of great pubs like The Royal Standard or The Tavern. There are also clubs to be enjoyed like Joe Bananas.
