Holders Carlisle United face an away quarter-final tie in their bid to retain the Cumberland Cup.

The Blues will travel to west Cumbria to take on Cleator Moor Celtic in the last eight.

It is a repeat of the quarter-final tie in 2019 - the last season the cup was completed - United winning 3-1 on that occasion.

They will face a Cleator Moor side who sit 13th in North West Counties First Division North.

United have fielded a young side in the early rounds and that is likely to continue at Inglenorth Park as they bid to make further progress in the county senior cup.

Mark Birch's young Blues have already got past Langwathby United and Northbank this season.

Martin Mahone's Cleator Moor, the 2018 cup winners, have seen off Penrith and Keswick so far.

Other quarter-final ties include a meeting between Carlisle City and Wokington Reds at Gillford Park.

Kirkoswald will host Wetheriggs United, while Pirelli are at home to Workington Athletic.
