Copeland Council have announced that the Whitehaven Christmas Market on November 27th will now move indoors due to bad weather.
The much anticipated event will now take place in The Solway Hall as opposed to King Street.
A spokesperson said: "Our Christmas market in Whitehaven will move indoors on Saturday due to the high winds forecast. There is currently a yellow weather warning in place and the safety of our stall holders and visitors is paramount."
