Santa is paying his usual early visit to Whitehaven this year.

He will be stopping at The Beacon Museum this Christmas to bring festive cheer and gifts to little visitors.

But while the focus will be on Santa. getting to him will provide festive fun for all as they follow Scrooge's Chrsitmas trail over four floors of the harbourside museum.

For those who want to give Santa's elves a bit of help, visitors can mak Georgian themed Christmas card and traditional peg doll, before visiting Santa’s grotto to receive a special gift.

The activities will be on offer every weekend from November 27 and also from Dec 20-23, from 10am until 3.45pm.

Cost of entry is £7 adult, £5.50 concessions, £3.50 for under 16s and £17.50 for a family pass (two adults and two children). Annual pass holders can visit free of charge upon production of their valid annual pass.

Visitors can take advantage of a 10 per cent discount on the price of an annual pass purchased during the festive season.
