A PROPOSAL to build a new silage building and pellet storage bin is being considered by the council.

Copeland Borough Council has received an application for planning permission to build the agricultural amenities from Mr Mawson of Bailey Ground Farm, Santon Way in Seascale.

The application requires full planning permission and was put together following detailed discussions with the officer responsible for the site.

Calva Design Studio is handling the proposal on behalf of the applicant.

An application for planning permission has also been submitted by Mr Messenger of 1 Earls Road to build a new detached garage on land behind the dwelling.

In the covering letter, Mr Messenger said: “The site for the proposed garage is on the corner of a row of existing garages and was the site of a former garage now demolished.”

The public can view and comment on all applications submitted to the borough council for approval.

Their comments of support or objection will be taken into account by the planning panel when they decide whether or not to grant approval.
