AN APPLICATION for planning approval has been submitted to Copeland Borough Council with plans to build a rear extension.
Shaun Doran of St Bees has submitted a request for planning approval to the council to build a rear extension on a property at Solway Rise.
Preparatory works will take place to remove the chimney breast and stack, modifying openings.
The applicant will expose the existing drainage to prepare for the new layout.
Pipework beneath the extension will be protected by 200mm of concrete encasement.
Copeland Council has also received an application to determine if prior notification is needed for the building of a new agricultural building on Dub Hall Harm in Arlecdon,
Stuart Woodall of Green Swallow North Limited has submitted the application on behalf of Mr Spencer who owns the farm.
The building would be18.20 metres in length and 4.50 metres in height.
It would consist of concrete panelling and metal cladding.
