CUMBRIA is set to feature in a popular TV series following the lifesaving work of North West Ambulance Service’s paramedics.
The new series of BBC’s Ambulance will see Cumbria, alongside Lancashire, feature for the first time in six brand new episodes.
In the first instalment, which airs tonight (September 30) at 9pm on BBC One, crew mates Nutan and Lisa attend a 999 call for a patient in cardiac arrest.
They also work with the area’s mental health triage car which is staffed by paramedics, police, and mental health services, offering multi-agency support to those in acute psychological distress.
And crew mates, Josh and Josh attend a serious RTC and are joined by advanced paramedic, Vinny. The team arrives to find two patients who need urgent treatment.
