A three-day rugby-fest is to be held Upstairs@TheGather.
The community is invited to give theatre a Try - and get tickets for the rugby-themed production.
Fly Half is a lyrical hymn to one man’s passion for his family, his town and his beloved game of rugby.
Set in an industrial town in South Wales, this play is a celebration of working class families who head out to the match each week, stand pitch side with pride, supporting their local team.
Emma Shepherd, The Manager of Upstairs@TheGather said: “Fly Half is a new play about the world of rugby by Gary Lagden, with original songs by Gareth Moulton, coming to Upstairs@TheGather.
“Over three evenings you can come and join an audience who share an interest in rugby and enjoy the ‘craic’, as well as theatre.
“It’s as much about the conversations over a pie and a pint as it is the performance by this acclaimed playwright and life-long rugby fan.
“All included for a ticket price of just £15 a head.”
The production will be shown on Thursday 30 September, Friday 1 and Saturday 2 October.
