As preparations are under way for pantomimes up and down the country, Carlisle is missing the lead role!

The Sands Centre are searching for someone to play Cinderella in the region’s biggest Christmas show and are looking for girls in the area to send over audition videos.

The Centre were hoping to put on Cinderella last year following a mammoth run of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2019, which kicked off on December 11 and finished on New Year’s Eve.

Collabro star Matt Pagan and singer Stevi Ritchie from The X Factor were two of the performers in the family fun show.

Videos can now be sent for the opportunity to appear in a leading role alongside an all-star professional cast.

The Sands Centre’s Daniel Charlton said: “The pantomime is going to be extra special this year for so many reasons, and we are delighted to be searching for a local Cinderella to step into the glass slippers of panto’s most well known princess.

One thing’s for sure, pantomime is truly magical, and you could be experiencing the festive buzz this Christmas in the region’s biggest pantomime… Get recording and upload your auditions quick!”
