A FORMER Whitehaven pub has smashed it's initial guide price by over £40,000.
The King's Arms in Whitehaven was part of a live bidding auction online at Auction House Cumbria earlier this week.
First listed at £30,000 the Hensingham local went on to sell for £79,000.
On their Facebook page, Auction House Cumbria said: "We had bidding galore on this former public house in Whitehaven at Thursday's live streamed online auction. After plenty of bids, it eventually sold for £79,000."
Auction House Cumbria have encouraged anyone with a commercial property in the area that they would like to sell quickly to contact the comapnies team and book a free valuation at: https://bit.ly/3l47mCn
