A drink driver who was more than three times over the legal limit, has been banned from the roads.
Andrea Louise Simpson, 52, of Springfort Cottages, Newton Reigny, Penrith, admitted drink driving when she appeared at Carlisle Magistrates' Court.
Simpson had been driving a Land Rover Freelander on Norfolk Road, Penrith, when the offence happened on June 28.
She had 118mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
Simpson was banned from driving for 28 months. She must also complete a three-month alcohol treatment programme and adhere to an eight-week curfew, from 7pm to 7am.
She was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £95 surcharge to fund victim services.
